Rescuers Left Heartbroken After Spotting Dog Covered In Hot Tar And Pinned To The Ground

This is a poor dog that fell into a pool of tar. Believe it or not, the dog is still alive. Unfortunately, it is literally stuck to the ground and can’t move. In steps the heroes from Animals Aid Unlimited, located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Animal Aid Unlimited is a rescue center, sanctuary, and hospital for all the injured and sick street animals in the area. Each year, they rescue thousands of animals and give them a second chance at life.

Jim, Erika, and Claire Abrams-Myers founded and now direct Animal Aid. They moved from Seattle to India nearly 15 years ago and lived right next door to the shelter. The family had done a lot of traveling and were always struck by the number of hurt and sick animals on the streets in India.

Instead of just turning a blind eye, they decided to do something about it! In 2002, they founded Animal Aid and haven’t regretted it! They now have a 4-acre area and can house 250 animals for treatment. They also have a staff of 50 full-time volunteers from around the world! Since 2015, they have helped treat over 50,000 animals!

In the video below, you will see the amazing crew from Animal Aid take this poor tar-covered dog and restore him to health. You won’t believe your eyes when you see how much better (and happier) the dog is at the end!
